Hello.
Its been a long time since im MIA.
So I got a lot of things to write.
I swear this post is gonna be the longest i ever posted.
Have a great time reading it.
This post is dedicated to the Cousteau family.
And esp Elton,our instructor(but i dont think he has time reading it.)
Firstly sorry,i havent get the photos.Later i'll upload it.
And show you the COUSTEAU family.

I have been gone for 5 days.
5 days and 4 nights.And for that long.
Of course I got alot of things to write.
I swear I never been this crazy in my whole life.

Day 1:
First day when we reached Pulau Ubin,
Cousteau was a dead watch.
(dont you agree Cousteau)
Anw Cousteau is pronounce as Cous-to.
And not Cost-stew.I got that wrong the first time.
While other watch was super HIGH!
But not ours.We are so so dead.

My watchmates were Fadhillah,Diyanah,
Christabel,Xiu xian,Kanice,Hannah,Cindi,
Grace,Belinda,Hui Yan,Isabella,Kah Huan,Chen Ning
and not forgetting Rui Qi.(please tell me i got the spelling right)
And most of the people I dont know that well.Sort of Strangers.

After the jetty ride.We assemble in the MPH at Camp 2.
And its time to get to know YOUR INSTRUCTOR!
Guess what it wasnt as what it seem.
One after another the watches were called,
And screamings were heard.
In order to know your instructors,you hav to shout as loud as possible.
Then the instructors will come out and show their faces.
Everyone knew theirs except us Cousteau.

Because we didnt shout.
When one of the instructor called Cousteau!
There was silences.No one shouted.
There was no bond whatsoever
After every watch know their instructors.
We were called once again.We shouted.
But not that loud.But we IMPROVE!

So our instructor is ELTON KANG!
Ehem not Elton John okay.He isnt gay.
He's the youngest male instructor in OBS.
Surely the lamest person I met there.

First thing to do the admin work.
Elton could not take the solemn occasion.
Everyone was quiet including me.There was silence.
Elton just wanted to make the event livelier so he started his lame jokes.
Which is dang lame like about Mas Selamat.
Its kinda stupid.

After that we took a group photo with Elton
Its on my mirror now.But then the picture has no meaning.
Cause we are so not bonded yet la seh.

First two days of OBS was a learning experience.
A learning experience of Land & Sea Expedition.
First day we learnt how to belay and rock climbing.
It was a dang fun and something new.
I was the model used to climb for demostration
Pull by Elton himself.It was fun though.

After that learn how to pitch the Army tent.
It was hell a hard time but it was worth it.
Cooking on the first day.Learnt to cook rice.
Thought it would be simple.But it is hard.
We almost burnt it a little.But the food was kinda okay.

After meeting and all,we went to sleep.
It wasnt as bad as we thought it would be.
Although there were sand.I find it okay.
But didnt sleep that soundly.Keep on waking up.

Day 2:
Pack our bags the day before already so its not that bad(rushing)
We wake up at 5 am.OH OH! I forgot to talk about the tent.
My tent mates were Diyanah,Fadhillah,Christabel & Hannah.
According to sleeping positions.Haha.

Anw continue with Day 2.
Since we are going trekking.So from DAy 1 place(camp 2)
We will be going Camp 1 which about a few kilometres from each other.
Since the navigators need to lead the way.
Learn to use the compass and map.
A simple journey can teach us that.
Navigators were Christabel and Fadhillah.

We took a few hours to reach camp 1.
At camp 1,we got a chance to rock climb.
It was fun but the challenge is that we have to get points as many as possible.
To get the full course meal that were cook for us.
And if we get this points,we will get the food allocated.
You get what i mean right.
For example <15 points,we will only get rice.
But for <120 points,we will get everything-rice,veggie,chicken,fish and cold drinks.
Finally nice food.

But thats not all.
We had kayaking learning experience.
Because Day 3 is Sea expedition
We learnt how to rescue a capsize kayak and stay calm.
Capsizing was wet and easy to do.
Rescuing sucks. It is damn tiring.

Day 3:Sea Expedition
We are well-equip and well prepared for the Sea Expedition.
All the instructors thought everything we need to know
Cousteau and Da Gama learn to rescue.
Cook and Columbus learnt to do the catepillar.

So we set off the journey at 9 am.
But there was a warning of Category 1 lightning.
So we went back to Camp 1 MPH for shelter.
Everyone was bored la.My babe Xiu xian and I were eating orange.
Lying down.We were about to fall asleep la.
Then updates said we can continue with the journey.

At 10 we set off.We kayak around Pulau Ubin to Jelutong about 17km.
Its 3 quarters of the perimeter of Pulau Ubin.
Then suddenly there was a storm.So we had to go back to shore.
We were soaking wet.And the wind make us shiver to the bone.
There was lightning so the instructors instruct us to squat down.
Due to the coldness,I thought of the penguin formation on animal planet.
Which save them from the cold during winter.

There will stick closely together for warmth.
Its like a circle.Outside people will feel the cold protecting the inside people.
When the outside people feel cold we will switch position.
We did the formation with my guidance and others cooperation.
Working together is so important.
I was holding on My babe Xiu Xian and Shy Rui Qi.
The ponchos came soon after that

It blocks the wind so we wont be that cold.
Isabella the Pornstar didnt wanna squat.
Suddenly we saw a lightning we dragged her down as fast as possible.
After that we sang 'Rain Rain Go Away' song.
Damn childish but i swear its adorable.

By the time we wanna leave that place,Its already 1pm.
So Guek Fong(sp?), Da Gama's instructor told us to take the quarter route.
Supposedly to be shorter but its not really quarter.
Due to time constraint,we took it.Its about 8 km i think.
The storm experience was a moment i cant forget.
We reach Jelutong at around 5.30pm.
Arrange our kayak and pitch our tent.

Pitching our tent was much harder.
Cause we had to find the ant colony area.
So that we wont pitch there.
And we cant used the pegs(sp?).We had to use stones.
Pitching in the dark is another problem.

After that,we wanted to change to dry clothes.
But my clothes all were soaking wet.
Because of the rain.But still i had to change.

The worst part was the toilet.
Its like 200+m away from the campsite.
Then the toilet has no lights.
So decided to strip outside.
Outside safer than inside la.
Mass stripping right Fadhillah,Chris and Hui yan??
It was too dark so cant see a thing.

Walking back was quite okay.
Eating time was fun.Chris failed her homec during sec 1 and 2
But we trust her that her cooking is good just that the tcher suck.
We were cooking Maggi curry chicken with sausage and curry chicken.
And tell you what.Its the tastiest thing we tasted so far.
While eating,Fad ask Hui yan whats her name.
Hui yan da bomb la.After two days still cant remember our names

Then she confidently say 'I know I know.Erm erm Fatimah!'
We all were like haiyo. then she guess again.
"Erm erm Falidah".We shook heads.
Then last guess "Falihah.Aiya i give up ah."
Haha.Since then fadhillah is FATIMAH the maid!!!!

After eating,we were washing up utensil.
Most of us are wearing shoes and fadhillah was wearing sandals.
Kanice,Chris and I gave her our utensil.
We got spotlight on her(our torchlight).
Then we sang "Im bringing sexy back Yeah!"
Guess what Fadhillah shake her booty la. Damn sexy.

Soon after,I,Hannah,Chris,Xiu xian and Fadhillah really need to pee badly.
So we had a mass peeing session.
We stood behind the tree facing the sea.
Stood far apart from one another.
And we go '1,2,3 AHHH!(pull down pants)Ahhh!!(pull up pants)
Didnt dare to do it.

But due to bladder cant take it
We go 1,2,3 and pee. Unforgettable memories.
After that wanted to brush teeth.
We walking away from the campsite towards the woods.
Suddenly something ran straight towards us.
First thought "WILD BOAR!"
But haha it was only a black dog.
Later we decided to brush teeth near the sea.

Sleeping time was annoying.
I was shivering due to wet clothes.
Luckily i close the tent opening.And i wasnt that cold.

Day 4:Land Expedition.
We unpitched the tents.
Pack our bags.And had breakfast.
Bread with peanut butter or butte or orange marmalade.
After that we carried our backpacks which is as heavy as 14kg.
A little bit more to half my eight. Im about 37kg.

We set off the journey from Jelutong to East side of Ubin.
Which is Cheh Jawa.And from there to the West side of Ubin to Camp 2.
Both are two ends of Pulau Ubin.
Its as far as 16km or actually more than that.
We aim to reach camp 2 at 4.Trekking about 6 hours or so.

Walking Cheh Jawa which is not even one third of the journey.
Its already damn tiring.Luckily we took turns to carry tents.
But all the pain was worth it.
We got to see crabs,fiddle crabs,mudskipper and monitor lizards.
But we didnt get to see alot of creatures like horseshoe crab.

I already became the radio.Not 98.7 but 81.7
I started singing a song and the group will follow.
Singing songs is much better.It makes us feel energetic.
So i kept telling the people let sing this and that.
I was the radio.Automatic one.
Top favourites: We will get there,Where I belong,Home,
If we hold on together,Stand by me and Pass it on and Hakuna Matata.

Suddenly we sang Hakuna Matata.
And I began to say we havent see Pumba.
Everyone started to say but we already met Timon.
Which is me.The smallest yet has a big mouth like Timon.
Talk non stop. Hearing voice makes everyone in my tent to wake up.
Im the smallest but the oldest in COUSTEAU.

Climbing the highest point of Ubin, was damn tiring.
However it was worth the sweat.
The view was gorgeous.We could see the quarry.
We shouted 'Cousteau' and 'Elton'.
And could hear our echo.

Upon reaching Camp 2.We sang damn loudly.
And joy was shown on our faces.
We hugged each other so tightly in satisfaction.
Then elton told us to do the yam-singh(sp?)
He threw water on us.
We all ran after him and pour water on him.
He was drenched la.

Then he told us to sit in a circle and ask us who we wanna thank.
Everyone said they wanna thank everyone including elton.
But this was funny. Elton ask Isabella the Pornstar.
She stoned a while and say "I wanna thank my mom"
Everyone burst out into laughter.
But its true.You need someone to motivate you.

The next day is the last day.
So we had to clean up and wash the stuff into the store.
While we are doing so,we were singing.
At night we cooked up a storm.
Haha Fadhillah really thought we are cooking a STORM!
Recipes for the storm are: Scramble A-la Cousteau
Long bean De Kayak
Lunch Munch Cousteau
And Fong Fong cooked apple pie for us.
Master chef was Christabel,Diyanah,Fadhillah,Hannah and Me.

It was our last night.Everyone was high to the extent of POLE DANCING.
Isabella was called the Pornstar cause of her dressing.
She was wearing a guy long sleeve shirt and shorts.
Its like she just did it with a guy and wearing the guy's shirt.

Late at night,we make a special performance for ELTON!!.
(Lucky guy dont you think.)15 girls performing for him.
Gay face and racoon face and thank you elton.
Telling him our family name.
Like mine is Rezwana Cousteau Mohsin.
Then Elton was playing the guitar and we were singing.
Pass it on,Stand by me and We will get there.

And we had to sleep.
Everyone dont want to go home.
Sleeping was funny.
Since its the last day,funny things happen.
Hannah was sleeping on my hand and my leg was hugging her.
And at night we kept on changing position cause its cold.

Day 5: Last day
We packed stuff.And eat breakfast.
Told Hui yan about the sleeping incident.
And she said "haiyo can you all stop the lesbian game"
Haha.Btw Hannah is damn straight la please and belong to someone.
Plus she's my close friend.It will be weird la seh.

After that when shopping at the store.
I bought 4 shirts and a notebook.
Then last thing we did was taking photos.
And dancing with one another including Elton
Then everyone wrote something for one another.
Its on the journal.

Elton didnt send us off.He need to do something.
In the bus towards school,Cousteau was singing non stop.
Others were sleeping or doing their own stuff.
And in the bus we decided to go Wild Wild Wet on the last day of the term.

Yknw what Cousteau,I miss you guys so much.
Obs is so stuck in me.Then I make my bed like i make the tent.
I bathe with cold water instead of warm water
while singing the song that we love.
And drinking tap water is much sweeter than boiled ones.
And also i have been eating peanut butter.
I think tomorrow im gonna cook Long Bean De kayak for my family.
I miss you guys especially ELTON.
At least I get to see you guys in school but not Elton.
I hope he remember us when he take MGS this coming week.
And our memories beats the MGS.

To Cousteau: I cant wait for our outing. Reunion is a must.
And i have been trying to design our Cousteau badges.
Remember our motto.
The Cousteau motto: Rugged is the new self esteem.
I love you guys.And totally miss you.
I swear I never been this attached to a group.
See you guys on tuesday and lets be crazy.
